Since 1964, the East Texas Vacation Guide has served millions of visitors. The East Texas Tourism Association ties together more than 100 cities in a region of East Texas and Louisiana. Through ETTA, cities and attractions are tied by Texas' first travel trail, The East Texas Heritage Trail. The Guide is distributed through Texas Travel Information Centers, travel and trade shows in National Markets, AAA Clubs, direct mail, and by members of the Association who network and share information on "what to see, what to do and where to stay." The entire Guide is transferred to ETTA's web site.
